I am a digital illustrator based in North Carolina and specialize in stylized portraits and narrative illustrations inspired by my interests and my own imagination. I'm self taught and have been drawing seriously since 2017, however being creative has been encouraged throughout my life since I was a young child by my teachers and parents. My goals as an artist is to express myself through my art and bring my active imagination to life.Artist StatementAs a digital illustrator, I am very imaginative and draw inspiration from the world around me and the multitude of media I consume on a daily basis, from music to the people I see in my life.The main focus of my work is stylized portraits, however I also make short and simple animations from time to time. I have used many different drawing and animation programs in my over 7 years of drawing, as well as experimenting and using different colors, mainly consisting of warm and natural tones. I use these colors to reflect my overall positive and energetic energy in my art.As an artist, I use art as an outlet to express my wide range of emotions and feelings when words fail me, and to bring the many ideas I have in my head to life. To depict the things I find beautiful about people - unique facial features and expressions - and share my authentic experiences and interesting narratives with my audience.
